Early before the sunrise - 4am I hopped in the car and headed west on the 10, then south on 95 for about 20 miles, then east toward the KOFA National Wildlife Refuge. What an amazing place! I was really unprepared for the beauty, the ruggedness and the sheer majesty of it. The first frames I shot were before sunrise and the last frames were long after sunset. During the day a few hikers came in and out of the mountains, but not so many - most of the time I was alone. I can't wait to go back to KOFA.
